Adverb
A word that modifies or adds to the meaning of a verb, adjective or an other adverb is called AdverbOr
A word added to a verb, adjective or an other adverb to show time, manner, place, degree,etc is called an Adverb
For example,
I-Used with Verbs
1. We drive carefully.
2. He walks slowly.
3. She eats quickly.
II-Used with Adjectives
1. He likes very sweet mangoes.
2. The weather is extremly cold.
3. Bee is too stupid.
III-Used with an other Adverb
1. She sees quite clearly.
2. Drive specially carefully on slippery places.
3. Neil dresses very smartly.
Note: In above examples blue words are adverbs which are used with verb, adjective and an other adverb. Adverbs are generally put after the verb they go with; adjectives are generally put before the noun they go with; as,
