Demonstrative Adjective

Definition

Demonstrative Adjectives point out which person or thing is meant; as,

1. This man is taller than Albert.

2. That boys is clever.

3. These eggs are rotten.

4. Those rascals must be punished.

This, That, These and Those are Demonstrative Adjectives.

Demonstrative Adjectives are four in numbers.

This and That are used for singular.

These and Those are used for plurals

This, that, these and those are also used as demonstrative pronouns, but they take verb after it.
