1. Common Noun
A Common Noun is a name given in common to every person, place of the same kind or class.Or
A Common Noun names any one of a group of persons, places or things.
For example
1.Joseph was a king.
2.Julia is a girl.
3.James is a boy.
4.Berlin is a city.
5.Germany is a country.
6.You are a teacher.
7.She is a woman.
8.I am a student.
9.This is a fan.
10.That is a wall clock
In above sentences
girl, boy, city, country, teacher, woman, student, fan, and wall clock are examples of Common Noun.
All common nouns are written with small letters, when it is in the middle of sentence. If a sentence start with common noun then you have to use capital letter.
2. Proper Noun
A Proper Noun is the name of a particular person, place or a thing.Or
A Proper Noun names a particular person, place or a thing.
For example,
1.God is present everywhere.
2.San Francisco is a beautiful city.
3.Asia is the biggest continent of world.
4.Paris is the capital of France.
5.William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor.
In above examples
God, San Francisco, Asia, Paris, France, and Shakespeare are examples of Proper Nouns.
Note: Proper nouns are always written with capital letters.
3. Collective Noun
A Collective Noun is the name of a collection (or group) of persons or things, taken together and spoken of as one whole.Or
Collective Noun stands for a group of people, animals, or things.
For example,

An Abstract Noun is usually the name of some action, state or a quality.Or
Abstract Nouns do not name a physical object but simply stands for concept or an idea which exists in minds only.
